Rotary’s Areas of Focus
Rotary International has designated six Areas of Focus that drive Rotarians to deliver the goodwill and solutions needed to create a better world
The opportunity to nurture your leadership skills is not limited to your workplace. In fact, many people work in a company for years without ever having a chance to develop their leadership aptitude.
Rotary is an organization that draws its strength from the Rotarians who choose to Serve Above Self as Club Members. However, every Rotary Club is a unique and independent organization that requires a Board and Directors, along with a yearly-elected Club President.
The Rotary Foundation holds the highest rating (4-stars) on Charity Navigator :
- 92% of the funds are awarded for the benefit of its programs
Additional roles are often created to meet other areas of opportunity. Also, many Rotary Clubs have co-Chairs and committee delegates who work together to accomplish service projects, global grant programs or fundraising events, among many more.
